Hello BeachReachers! I just happened to be reading a little tonight after I left the Banderman Base tonight and I wanted to share some encouragement with you.

"Look at the nations and watch- and be utterly amazed. For I am going to do something in your days that you would not believe, even if you were told." Ezekiel 1:5

"Behold, I am the Lord, the God of all flesh; is anything too difficult for me?" Jeremiah 32:27

"Though youths grow weary and tired, and vigorous men stumble badly, yet those who wait for the Lord will gain new strength; They will mount up with wings like eagles, they will run and not get tired, they will walk and not become weary," Isaiah 40:30-31

I was there a couple of weeks ago and one day I was standing on the beach watching my friends play in the water and I noticed how I kept my eyes on the shoreline. I looked at only the immediate. So I lifted my eyes to the horizon and there was the gulf extending far beyond my sight and God whispered in my spirit. How often do I get distracted by what is right in front of me? I get discouraged by the immediate and forget the long term, the big picture. I lose sight of how BIG God is and how powerful He is. But it was awesome to see His creation and know that He loves me and He had a purpose for us being down there. He wants them to know Him too!

We may not always have the end in sight, but I urge you to keep your head up and see the greatness of God. Don't let sickness or exhaustion distract you from your mission. He has plans for you and PCB this week that you wouldn't believe, even if you were told! The end is near, but it's not here yet! It was so encouraging to read the amazing things that God was doing tonight and be a part of it even from Hannibal. Know that we are praying for you and we love you!

In Him,
Sarah from HLG
