A Typical BeachReach Day

As Typical as they Come

9:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. — Free Pancake Breakfast
Each morning BeachReach students host a free pancake breakfast for hungry spring breakers (cooking is provided by the Georgia Baptist Convention). BeachReach students are responsible for serving breakfast, assisting with set-up and clean-up, providing a shuttle service to the breakfast, and building relationships with students who come. Flapjacks may be tasty, but only God can fill their hungry hearts.

2:00 - 4:00 p.m. — Afternoon Activities
Optional activities enable BeachReach students to further build relationships with spring breakers that can transition into opportunities to share the gospel. These may include volleyball and soccer tournaments, tug-of-war, or sandsculpting contests.

6:00 - 8:00 p.m. — Worship and Spiritual Growth
Each night in preparation for evening ministries, BeachReachers gather to worship through music, prayer, and a message from God's Word.

8:30 p.m. - 2:00 a.m. — Evening Ministries

• Van Ministry: BeachReachers provide free van rides to spring breakers needing safe transportation. It's a great time to listen and share Christ with those who call for a ride.
  


• Street Teams: BeachReach teams are assigned a section of the strip for prayer walking, meeting with students, and sharing Christ as opportunities become available.
  


• Phone/Hotline: Students working in the phone room take incoming hotline calls on behalf of the van ministry and dispatch vans to pick up riders. Students also answer a separate line to take prayer requests from van teams and relay those to the prayer room.
  


• Prayer Ministry: Every aspect of BeachReach is prayer focused, and each BeachReacher serves in prayer ministry during the week. From the time the first van leaves base to the time the last van returns, the prayer room is active. Through this ministry, students learn the importance of interactive prayer and how prayer empowers the believer.
